FREEMDR was started in 2025 by an EMDR trained therapist in Austin, TX as an offshoot of Heart & Soul ATX. We began as two friends, one who offered free haircuts and another who can offer FREE EMDR. Together Heart & Soul has grown to provide food, clothing, hygiene products, pet food, and more. FREEMDR is run completely by me and volunteer therapists who are trained in EMDR. We currently provide mobile clinic days in Austin, TX at Violet Crown City Church in conjuction with Heart & Soul ATX. Our goal is to provide TLC to the unhoused community of ATX and a little repsite from the harshness of the world for FREE.
